Who is Lisa?
Hello, Bonjour and Hola! Thank you for wanting to get to know me better! Here is how it all began for me.
I grew up in Centerville Ohio. In High School is when I actually started training for my VO career, even though I didn't know it then! The time I spent in Speech & Debate is where it all started! My category was Dramatic Interpretation (of course it was!), my Senior Year I was actually Ohio State Champion! #1! I placed in the top ten at Nationals for Prose and Poetry reading that year too! Then I went to school at Eastern Michigan University where I earned a BS in Communications. Shortly after graduation, I moved to Las Vegas.
I spent my time in corporate jobs and jobs that were presentation heavy. I was pretty darn successful in my corporate careers! I had a fight with Cancer, and WON! While I was at the end of my treatments, I wandered into a place called The Voice Actors Studio. And after only one introductory class with the most amazing teacher, Melissa Moats, I knew what I wanted to do the rest of my life! It was everything that I did in High School and my Corporate life-- but it was only the fun parts! I concentrated on learning and perfecting my craft.
Here I am today, Full Time Voice Actor living the DREAM! Thank you to all my coaches and fellow VO actors that came before me to help me hone my craft. (You know who you are!) I absolutely love making my clients projects come to life, I love a directed session and I love this life that I've built!
I have a deep love for animals, which helps explain my inspiration for my vocal booth…Welcome to my Den! I will be your Pretty Peacock, your Ambitious Lion and your Sweet Little Puppy Dog. I am all-in and I am ready!
If you can think it, I can voice it!!! Vocal Age is 5-50. I also do accents for Southern US, Western US, Trans Atlantic, British, French and Eastern European to name a few. I’m a Beast for any occasion!
My creativity is boundless!!! I am honored to walk with you through this journey and be your voice and collaborative partner!! My goal is to bring in your audience and be able to make them “feel” your words.
